Karen and Steve have now been dating for over 5 years. They have experienced many ups and downs, fabulous vacations, and boring weekends stuck at home. They are looking forward to being able to spend even more time together, and create even more memories.
Karen is finishing up her first year of teaching in a second grade classroom in San Jose. She works at Ryan Elementary where her students adore her, possibly because she is way too easy on them... She is still learning how to balance a job and social life.
Steve is working in Livermore as a Marketing Manager for an electrical wholesale company. It isn't where he envisioned himself at first, but he is enjoying it.
Budha, Max, and Nigel (their animals) are slowly getting used to each other. Max gives Budha a lot of exercise by chasing him around, and Nigel is happy to just be left alone.
